Background[]
On May 6, 2024, at All Together, at United Japan Pro-Wrestling's inauguration announced event, UJPW announced an event taking place on June 15, in Sapporo that would focus on the members promotions that were unable to participate at All Together. It was also announced that the promotions involved for this event would be announced at a later date and the event would also be a charity show to benefit recovery in the Noto Peninsula.
NJPW, Noah and All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) had previously held three events in response to the March 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The first event was held in Tokyo on August 27, 2011, and the second in Sendai on February 19, 2012. All proceeds from the events were donated to Japanese Red Cross. A third event was held on June 9, 2023, as a memorial to Antonio Inoki who had died the previous year. Menawhile, UJPW was formed to maintain healthy competition among the professional industry in Japan, as well as a space for exchanging opinions and information regarding common issues within the professional wrestling industry such as COVID-19, which affected various promotions in Japan.
Storylines[]
All Together in Sapporo featured professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.

Jake Lee, who faced Tetsuya Naito.
On April 22, 2024, Pro Wrestling NOAH's Jake Lee made a surprise debut for NJPW by interfering and helping Drilla Moloney defeat Tetsuya Naito, as part of a match series between Bullet Club War Dogs and Los Ingobernables de Japón (L.I.J.). Afterwards, Bullet Club leader David Finlay, announced that Lee would team with Bullet Club War Dogs against Naito's L.I.J in a five-on-five tag team elimination match on April 27, which Bullet Club War Dogs lost, after Lee was eliminated by Naito. Afterwards, Lee challenged Naito to a match anytime, anywhere. The match between Bullet Club War Dogs and L.I.J was announced on April 30. After a match between Lee and Naito on May 6 at All Together, Lee continued to challenge Naito to a match, leading NJPW and NOAH to announce a match between the two at All Together in Sapporo.

Tomohiro Ishii, who faced Masa Kitamiya.
Also, due to Lee's alliance with Bullet Club War Dogs, his own stable Good Looking Guys (GLG) made an alliance with them, at the previous All Together on May 6, after they attacked Kaito Kiyomiya after he had won the GHC Heavyweight Championship. As a consequence, Kiyomiya and Kenoh formed a stable named "All Rebellion", as way to even the odds against Bullet Club. Shortly after, Bullet Club War Dog's Gabe Kidd started to appear in Pro Wrestling NOAH, signalling an alliance between the two stables.
Also at the previous All Together, Tomohiro Ishii and Masa Kitamiya faced each other in a tag team match. Afterwards, Kitamiya continued to try and get after Ishii after the match, challenging Ishii to face him. They would face each other at NOAH's One Night Dream 2 on May 22, which Ishii won. Having lost two matches against him, Kitamiya challenged him again to a match, which he accepted. Both had previously faced each other at the traditional NJPW vs. NOAH at the beginning of the year, on January 21 at Wrestle Kingdom 17, where Kitamiya and Ishii were involved in a brawl, after their match, and Ishii defeating Kitamiya on January 2 at NOAH The New Year.
