Bumper Crop 2022 In Sendai was a professional wrestling event promoted by CyberFight's sub-brand Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah). It took place on January 16, 2022, in Sendai, Japan, at the Sendai Sun Plaza. The event aired on CyberAgent's AbemaTV online linear television service and CyberFight's streaming service Wrestle Universe.

The event featured professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Wrestlers portrayed villains, heroes, or less distinguishable characters in the scripted events that built tension and culminated in a wrestling match or series of matches.
The Grand Ship In Nagoya 2022 was main evented by Katsuhiko Nakajima defending the GHC Heavyweight Championship against Masa Kitamiya. On January 4, 2022 at New Sunrise, Nakajima and Kitamiya faced each other in a ten-man tag team match. Kitamiya won the match for his team by scoring a direct pinfall over Nakajima and afterwards challenged him to a title match GHC Heavyweight Championship. Kitamiya and Nakajima were both trained under Kensuke Sasaki, however, Kitamiya claimed he always hated Nakajima, showcasing a bitterness between the two, most notably when on May 31, 2021, when Kitamiya turned on Nakajima, to leaving KONGOH, that led to a steel cage hair vs. hair match, which Nakajima lost, forcing him to shave his hair as per the stipulation.
Also at New Sunrise, following Kitamiya's challenge, Manabu Soya also had a challenge to make. Naomichi Marufuji had provoked him, during their match, and as such he and KONGOH stablemate Kenoh challenged him and Keiji Mutoh to a title match for the GHC Tag Team Championship.
