Champion Gate 2011 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by Dragon Gate. It took place on the Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo, Japan on April 12, 2011 at the first night. The second night took place on the Synthesis Gym in Utsunomiya, Tochigi, Japan on April 13 and the third and the last night was on the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan on April 14. It is the first Champion Gate event.

Storylines[]

On March 3 it was a feud between Blood Warriors and KAMIKAZE and KAMIKAZE (YAMATO and Shingo Takagi) challenged Blood Warriors (Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito) for the Open The Twin Gate Championship and Horiguchi accepeted. Also Masaaki Mochizuki defeated Gamma to become the #1 Contender for the Open The Dream Gate Championship. One day later CIMA challenged WORLD-1 to put their feature at risk by giving them a Open The Triangle Gate Championship opportunity and if World-1 loses the match they had to disband. On March 15 it was also announced that the Dragon Gate USA titles were also going to be defended during the show.

Event[]

During the first night Naruki Doi defeated Susumu Yokosuka with the help of Yasushi Kanda when Kanda hit Yokosuka with the Blue Box and after the match Kanda attacked Yokosuka also in that night Kenichiro Arai and K-ness came out after the Iwasa Return Match and they appealed to Iwasa to reform AraIwa for one night at the upcoming Korakuen. Iwasa agreed and it was also announced that Don Fujii would participate in the Six Man tag team match later the night Blood Warriors (Genki Horiguchi and Ryo Saito) successfully defended the Open the Twin Gate Champions against YAMATO, Shingo Takagi. During the second night Naruki Doi defeated Kenichiro Arai to become the #1 Contender for the Open The Brave Gate Championship and later that night World-1 (Masato Yoshino and PAC) successfully defended the Open The United Gate Championship against Blood Warriors (Dragon Kid and Ricochet). During the third night YAMATO defended the Open The Freedom Gate Championship against Yasushi Kanda also in that night Blood Warriors (CIMA, Dragon Kid and Ricochet) retained the Opent th Trianlgle Gate champions as result Wold-1 had to disband later that night Masaaki Mochizuki defeated Masato Yoshino to win the Open the Dream Gate Championship after the match Mochizuki celebrated his victory and he asked Susumu Yokosuka to team with him and also asked PAC in English if he wanted to team with him but PAC said that he doesn't understand him and Yamato challenged him for the Open the Dream Gate Champion and Mochizuki accepeted YAMATO to be his first challenger because he wanted a rematch with YAMATO since he lost to YAMATO in the past.
