Champion Gate in Hakata 2012 was a event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on June 16 and on June 17 2012, in Hakata, Fukuoka at the Hakata Star Lanes and was the second event under the Champion Gate in Hakata.
The day 1 featured 6 matches with two of Dragon Gate's fift championships on the line and the second day featured also 6 matches with two of Dragon Gate's fift championships on the line. The main event of day 1 saw World-1 International (Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino and PAC) defeating Mad Blankey (Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk and Cyber Kong) to retain the Open the Triangle Gate Championship and the main event of second day saw CIMA defeating Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! for the Open the Dream Gate Championship. All in all, the events featured one title change.

On May 19 Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! won the 2012 King of Gate and Horiguchi won the right to face CIMA for the Open The Dream Gate Championship. On June 9 Super Shisa defeated Rich Swann to become the for #1 Contender the Open the Brave Gate Championship and it was announced that Shisa would face Dragon Kid at the Champion Gate in Hakata. One day later Mad Blankey (Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk and Cyber Kong) challenged World-1 International (Naruki Doi, Masato Yoshino and PAC for the Open the Triangle Gate Championship. It was later announced that Naoki Tanisaki and BxB Hulk would defend the Open the Twin Gate Championship at the Champion Gate in Hakata at the second night.
