Naruki Doi, who is set to make his second defense of the Open The Dream Gate Championship at the Champion Gate in Osaka in the second night

The first night was main evented by Kaito Ishida making his second defense of the Open The Brave Gate Championship against Genki Horiguchi. On February 7 as part of a feud between Toryumon and R.E.D, Genki Horiguchi challenged R.E.D's Kaito Ishida to a match for his Open The Brave Gate Championship.

In the Open The Triangle Gate Championship Toryumon (Dragon Kid, Kenichiro Arai and Ryo Saito) will make their first title defense against Dragon Gate (Ben-K, Dragon Dia and Strong Machine J). On February 16, Keisuke Okuda pinned one-third of the Open The Triangle Gate Champions Dragon Kid. Afterwards, Dragon Gate challenged Toryumon for their titles. Since Okuda failed on his attempt to win the titles on February 7, the Ashiyanikki Cup 6 Man Tag Team Tournament, Ben-K, Dragon Dia and Strong Machine J challenged Kid, Kenichiro Arai and Ryo Saito to a title match, which he accepted.

The second night will be main evented by Naruki Doi making his second defense of the Open The Dream Gate Championship against Susumu Yokosuka. On February 7, 2020, Doi defeated Kzy to make his first successful title defense of the Open The Dream Gate Championship. After the match, Doi issued an open challenge, which was answered by his Toryumon stablemate Susumu Yokosuka, leading their match to be announced to take part in the second night of the show. On February 24, it was announced that the winner of the match, would be given a new version of the Open The Dream Gate Championship, with the new logo of the promotion.

Afterwards, General Manager Takayuki Yagi declared the titles vacated, with the new champions being crown in a tournament in January. On January 15, Hulk and Sakamoto defeated Ben-K and YAMATO in the finals to win the Open The Twin Gate Championship. On February 16, YAMATO pinned Hulk during a tag team match. Afterwards, he challenged Hulk to a match for the Open The Twin Gate Championship, but Hulk refused it, leading General Manager Takayuki Yagi to give an ultimatum, which he would by accept the title match or surrender the titles. Their match was announced to take part in the second night of the event.
