Daiki Yanagiuchi (柳内大貴 Yanagiuchi Daiki, born July 3, 1998), is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Dragon Gate (DG).
Professional Wrestling Career[]
Dragon Gate (2023–Present)[]
In 2023, Yanagiuchi tried to earn a training spot in the Dragon Gate Dojo dojo being inserted in the Dragon Gate Future class, but failed to pass an introductory test, leading him to beg Dragon Gate's General manager to accept him instead as member of staff in the Korakuen Hall working at part time, while training to become a professional wrestler, after he passed the introductory test on his second try. On February 4, Saito announced that Yanagiuchi would make his debut for the promotion on March 2. At the event, Yanagiuchi was defeated by Don Fujii on his debut match. As is customary for most professional wrestlers, Yanagiuchi spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers while at the same time give Watanabe some in-ring, televised, experience.
On January 16, Yanagiuchi and Ryu Fuda requested Masaaki Mochizuki to join the second iteration of Mochizuki Dojo, which he accepted. They were soon joined by Akihiro Sahara, completing the second version of the stable. Three days later, after Young Dragon Cup finals, Yoshiki Kato challenged Mochizuki Dojo to a Captain’s Fall Elimination match, where Yanagiuchi would captain his team and If Mochizuki Dojo lost, they would have been forced to disband. On January 25 at Gate of Bayside, Mochizuki Dojo defeated Z-Brats, keeping the stable alive.
