The Dangerous Gate (2012) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and GAORA TV event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on September 23 2012, in Tokyo at the Ota City General Gymnasium and was the first event under the Dangerous Gate.
The event featured 7 matches with three of Dragon Gate's fift championships were on the line. The main event featured CIMA defeating Naruki Doi to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship. In all of the matches featured one title change.

Storylines[edit | edit source]
On June 30 Naoki Tanizaki return from injury saving CIMA from Mad Blankey. The following day, he joined the Jimmyz stable and started a feud with the imposter Naoki Tanisaki which later led to a match at the Dangerous Gate for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship and if the team of Mad Blankey wins they would win the rights of Naoki Tanizaki's name. On August 22 Masamune on a match to become the #1 Contender for the Open The Brave Gate Championship and later that night Naruki Doi won the CIMA Royale and won the right to face CIMA for the Open The Dream Gate Championship at the Dangerous Gate. It was later announced that -akatsuki- (Shingo Takagi and YAMATO) would face Team Veteran Returns (Masaaki Mochizuki and Don Fujii)

At the the event it was saw Gamma after his match he was attacked by Jimmy Kanda and also in that night Mad Blankey (Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk and Naoki Tanisaki) defeated Jimmyz (Naoki Tanizaki, Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! and Ryo "Jimmy" Saito) to retain the Open The Triangle Gate Champions after the match Tanisaki claimed the right to choose Tanizaki's new name saying that Tanizaki's whining and crying reminded him of the "kyu kyu" noise a dolphin makes, he renamed Tanizaki to Mr. Kyu Kyu Toyonaka Dolphin also Team Veteran Returns (Masaaki Mochizuki and Don Fujii) defeated -akatsuki- (Shingo Takagi and YAMATO) to become the new Open The Twin Gate Champions and later that night in the main event it was saw CIMA defeating Naruki Doi to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship.
