Dead or Alive (2013) was a professional wrestling event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on May 5 2013, in Aichi at the Aichi Prefectural Gym and was the sixth annual event under the Dead or Alive.

The event featured 6 matches with for of Dragon Gate's fift championships on the line and. The main event saw CIMA defeating Akira Tozawa to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship All in all, the events featured two title changes.

Storylines[]

On April 4 CIMA named Akira Tozawa as his next challenger for the Open the Dream Gate Championship at the Dead or Alive. On April 12 Masato Yoshino defeated Mondai Ryu to become the #1 Contender for the Open the Brave Gate Championship also it was announced that Team Veteran Returns (Masaaki Mochizuki, HUB and Don Fujii) would be against World-1 International (Naruki Doi, Shachihoko BOY and Rich Swann) for the Open the Triangle Gate Championship later that night YAMATO defeated BxB Hulk after the match Yamato challenged Hulk for the Open the Twin Gate Championship and the winner of BxB Hulk and Uhaa Nation and Jimmyz (Jimmy Susumu and Ryo “Jimmy” Saito) would be against Yamato and Shingo Takagi. On April 19 it was officialy announced that BxB Hulk and Uhaa Nation against Yamato and Shingo Takagi.

The event featured a title match for the Open the Twin Gate Champions between were Mad Blankey (BxB Hulk and Uhaa Nation) lost the titles to -akatsuki- (Shingo Takagi and YAMATO) and World-1 International (Naruki Doi, Shachihoko BOY and Rich Swann) retained the Open the Triangle Gate Champions and Masato Yoshino defeated Dragon Kid to become the new Open the Brave Gate Champion. At the main event CIMA defeated Akira Tozawa to retain the Open the Dream Gate Championship.
