Dead or Alive (2014) was a professional wrestling event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on May 5 2014, in Aichi at the Aichi Prefectural Gym and was the seventh annual event under the DEAD or ALIVE.

The event featured 7 matches with four of Dragon Gate's fift championships on the line. The main event saw a Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match were BxB Hulk was the last to escape and Naruki Doi lost the match and Kzy lost his hair. All in all, the events featured two title changes. The event is available in their streaming service Dragon Gate Network.

Storylines[]

On March 21 the GM Yagi announced that Naruki Doi, BxB Hulk, Jimmy Kanda, Mr. Quu Quu Naoki Tanizaki Toyonaka Dolphin, Masato Yoshino and CIMA would participate in Dead or Alive Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match. Two days later GM Yagi announced the stipulations of the Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match that the person that they choose to be their scapegoat and they would lose their Hair or Mask and Toyonaka Dolphin announced that his scapegoat would be Genki Horiguchi H.A.Gee.Mee!! and Kanda announced that his scapegoat would be Jimmy Kagetora. On April 6 it was announced the of the scapegoats CIMA's scapegoat would be Dragon Kid, Yoshino's scapegoat would be Shachihoko BOY, Doi's scapegoat would be YAMATO and Hulk's scapegoat would be Cyber Kong and Kanda replaced Jimmy Kagetora to Jimmy Susumu. Two days later YAMATO challenged Ricochet for the Open The Dream Gate Championship. On April 10 after Masaaki Mochizuki defeated Monster Express (Akira Tozawa and Shingo Takagi) in a singles match and Mochizuki asked for a shot for the Open The Twin Gate Championship at the Dead or Alive and Takagi and Tozawa accepted also Doi replaced YAMATO for Kzy to be his scapegoat at the Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match. Three days later Susumu challenged Flamita for the Open The Brave Gate Championship and Flamita accepted.

The event featured Flamita defending Open The Brave Gate Championship against Jimmy Susumu it also featured Monster Express (Akira Tozawa and Shingo Takagi) defending the Open the Twin Gate Championship against We Are Team Veteran (Masaaki Mochizuki and Don Fujii) and YAMATO defeating Ricochet to become the new Open The Dream Gate Championship and the main event featured a Steel Cage Survival 6 Way Match were BxB Hulk was the last to escape and Naruki Doi lost the match and Kzy lost his hair and after the match Hulk turned on Doi and YAMATO and quitted Mad Blankey.
