Junction Three was a professional wrestling stable in the Japanese promotion Dragon Gate, June 8, 2011. The group was named Junction Three (JIII) in reference to it being a union between the former members of World-1, Kamikaze and the Veteran-gun. On February 9, 2012, Junction Three was forced to disband, after losing a fourteen-man elimination tag team match to Blood Warriors.

History[]

Formation[]

After Masaaki Mochizuki disbanded Veteran-Gun Mochizuki agreed to form a aliance with WORLD-1 and KAMIKAZE to battle CIMA's Blood Warriors. On May 13, 2011, Shingo Takagi disbanded KAMIKAZE and the following day both him and YAMATO joined Masaaki Mochizuki's new stable. On April 14, 2011, Masato Yoshino lost the Open The Dream Gate Championship to Masaaki Mochizuki. At the same event, World-1 failed to win the Open The Triangle Gate Championship from Blood Warriors and was as a result forced to disband.[1] On April 24 former World-1 members Yoshino, BxB Hulk, PAC and Susumu Yokosuka agreed to form a new alliance with Masaaki Mochizuki to battle Blood Warriors.[2] On May 14 Mochizuki offer Takuya Tomakomai to join the stable. The offer was turned down in favor of another Dragon Gate group called "Blood Warriors". Also in that night Super Shisa also joined the stable. On May 15, the rest of Blood Warriors turned on Dragon Kid and kicked him out of the group, despite the fact that he still held the Open The Triangle Gate Championship with CIMA and Ricochet, and replaced him with Cyber Kong and Tomahawk T.T. He then joined Masaaki Mochizuki's new stable to battle his former group. On May 21, Hulk first defeated CIMA in the semifinals and then CIMA's Blood Warriors stablemate Yasushi Kanda in the finals to win the 2011 King of Gate tournament. However, much to Hulk's surprise, Masaaki Mochizuki named Kanda the next challenger to his Open The Dream Gate Championship.[3] On May 27, the rest of Blood Warriors turned on Gamma and gave his spot in the group to Kzy.[4] On June 8 the new group was named Junction Three (JIII) in reference to it being a union between the former members of World-1, Kamikaze and the Veteran-gun. Later that night before Hulk was scheduled to team with Shingo Tagaki, Naoki Tanizaki came out dressed as Black Hulk. With Takagi distracted with Tanizaki, Hulk hit Takagi with a chair, turning heel and joining Blood Warriors also Gamma then went on to join Masaaki Mochizuki's stable to also battle Blood Warriors and Rich Swann also joined the stable.[5].[6]

Championship Success[]

On June 18 PAC defeated Ricochet to retain the Open The Brave Gate Championship and later that night Gamma, Yoshino and YAMATO defeated the Blood Warriors team of CIMA, Naruki Doi and BxB Hulk to win the vacant Open The Triangle Gate Championship. One day later Kid and PAC defeated Ryo Saito and Genki Horiguchi to win the Open The Twin Gate Championship. Ater the match CIMA and Ricochet stole the Twin Gate titles and challenged PAC and Kid to a match for the titles. Later that night Mochizuki defeated Blood Warriors member Yasushi Kanda to retain the Dream Gate Championship. On July 17 Gamma, Yoshino and YAMATO defeated the Blood Warriors team of Naruki Doi, Yasushi Kanda and Cyber Kong to retain the Triangle Gate Champions. Also in that night Kid and PAC lost the Twin Gate Champions to Blood Warriors (CIMA and Ricochet). After the match PAC would be returning home to the United Kingdom for an extensive stay. Naoki Tanizaki stole the Open The Brave Gate title and proclaimed himself as the champion in his place. Later that night Mochizuki defeated BxB Hulk to retain the Dream Gate Championship. On July 24 Swann unsucessfuly challenged Naoki Tanizaki for the Blood Warriors Authorized Open The Brave Gate Champion after the match Gamma challenged Naoki Tanizaki for the Blood Warriors Authorized Open The Brave Gate Championship. On August to 3 August 7 Kid and Yoshino, Kagetora and Shisa, Takagi and Yokosuka, Mochizuki and YAMATO and Gamma and Swann partipated at the 2011 Summer Adventure Tag League Kagetora and Shisa were eliminated at the first round by the eventual winners Akira Tozawa and BxB Hulk, Takagi and Yokosuka were eliminated at the second round by Kid and Yoshino and Kid and Yoshino were eliminate at the semifinals by Tozawa and Hulk and also Mochizuki and YAMATO were eliminated at the finals by Tozawa and Hulk. On August 14 Gamma, Yoshino and YAMATO defeated Takagi, Mochizuki and Kid to retain the Triangle Gate Champions. On August 21 Mochizuki defeated Cyber Kong to retain the Dream Gate Championship. Four days later Gamma unsucessfuly Naoki Tanizaki for the Blood Warriors Authorized Open The Brave Gate Champion. On September 2 YAMATO, Gamma and Yoshino lost the Triangle Gate Champions to Blood Warriors Team Doi Darts Kzy, Naoki Tanizaki and Naruki Doi. Later that night it was announced a Hair vs. Mask 6 way cage match. The six participants would be Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk and Cyber Kong at the side of Blood WARRIORS and the side of Junction Three YAMATO, Shingo Takagi and KAGETORA. On September 11 at Dragon Gate USA Way of the Ronin 2011 Yoshino and PAC lost the Open The United Gate Championship to the Open The Twin Gate Champions, CIMA and Ricochet, in a title vs. title match.[7] On September 16 PAC reclaim the Brave Gate Champion defeating Naoki Tanizaki in a proper defense. After the match Genki Horiguchi attacked PAC and challenged him for the Brave Gate Champion. On October 2 Yoshino and Kid challenged CIMA and Ricochet to a match for the Open The Twin Gate Champions and Mochizuki challenged Team Doi Darts for the Triangle Gate Titles and it was going to be decided if Junction Three would get the chance or not in the Doi Darts a dart board, this one was filled with Xs and Os. An O means they got their match, and X meant no. Mochizuki said it should be done like last time, with a fan throwing the dart. He picked a girl from the crowd and she tossed her dar and landed on an X they were not going to have their title match. Gamma was furious and destroyed the dart board. Doi was aghast and heartbroken and Tanizaki accepted the challenge. Tanizaki quickly added that there would be stipulations attached. The 2 count rules from his fake Brave Gate reign will be in play. On October 13 Mochizuki defeated Akira Tozawa to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship. On October 16 Gamma, Yokosuka and Mochizuki unsucessfuly challenged Naruki Doi, Naoki Tanizaki and Kzy for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship, Kid and Yoshino unsucessfuly challenged for the Open The Twin Gate Championship. Later that night PAC defeated Genki Horiguchi to retain the Brave Gate Championship. At the Main event YAMATO lost his hair to Cyber Kong in a six-way steel cage Hair vs. Hair match. On November 3 he defeated Ryo Saito to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship. On November 5 Swann defeated "Hollywood" Stalker Ichikawa to win the Open The Owarai Gate Championship. Later Naoki Tanizaki stold Swann Owarai Gate Champion. On November 13 at Freedom Fight 2011 YAMATO lost the Open The Freedom Gate Championship to Johnny Gargano.

Disbanding[]

On November 19 Gamma, Shachihoko Machine, Chihiro Tominaga unsucessfuly challenged Naruki Doi, Naoki Tanizaki and Kzy for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship. Later that night PAC lost the Brave Gate Champion to Ricochet. After the match Kid and Yoshino challenged Ricochet for a title match. On November 30 at the Blood WARRIORS Produce 1st Blood Cima and Ricochet vacated the Open The Twin Gate titles so Ricochet could focus on his Open The Brave Gate Championship and Cima could focus on going for the Open The Dream Gate Championship and Yokosuka and Kagetora demand a oppurtunity for the titles and Akira Tozawa and BxB Hulk also wanted a oppurtunity for the titles and it was decided that if Yokosuka and Kagetora loose they would rename to Jimmy Susumu and Jimmy Kagetora. One day later Yokosuka and Kagetora failed to capture the Open The Twin Gate titles and they had to rename to Jimmy Susumu and Jimmy Kagetora. After the match Takagi and YAMATO attacked Tozawa and Hulk and challenged them to a title match. On December 25 at the Final Gate Swann, Gamma and Kid unsucessfuly challenged Naruki Doi, Naoki Tanizaki and Kzy for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship. Later that night Yoshino unsucessfuly challenged Ricochet for the Brave Gate Championship, and Takagi and YAMATO unsucessfuly challenged Tozawa and Hulk for the Open The Twin Gate titles. At the Main event Mochizuki lost the Dream Gate Champion to CIMA.

On January 15, 2012 Kid and Yoshino unsucessfuly challenged Akira Tozawa and BxB Hulk for the Open The Twin Gate titles. On January 21 Junction Three was against Blood WARRRIORS in a Loser Leaves Unit Match the person who was pinned and Gamma was forced to leave Junction Three. On February 2 Susumu unsucessfuly challenged CIMA for the Open Dream Gate Championship. After a ten-month rivalry, Blood Warriors defeated Junction Three in a fourteen-man elimination tag team match on February 9, 2012, forcing JIII to disband.[8]
