The Final Gate (2024) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) and GAORA TV event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on December 15, 2024, in Fukuoka at the Fukuoka International Center and it was the nineteenth annual event under the Final Gate. The event aired on GAORA and Dragon Gate Network streaming service in both English and Japanese commentaries and was broadcasted live at SKY PerfecTV! as pay-per-view (PPV).

The Final Gate (2024) aired live through Dragon Gate's internet streaming site, Dragon Gate Network, with Japanese language commentaries. The Japanese commentary was provided by Katsuya Ichikawa. The event also aired on tape delay on Japanese TV Gaora Sports to be launched in Dragon Gate's ~ Infinity ~ Series. The event also featured English commentary provided by Jae Church and Ho Ho Lun.

YAMATO, who faced Dragon Dia in a Title vs. Title match for the Open The Dream and Open The Brave Gate Championships in the main event
The Final Gate (2024) will main evented by YAMATO facing the winner of the 2024 King of Gate Dragon Dia in a Title vs. Title match for the Open The Dream and Open The Brave Gate Championships. On November 3, 2024, at Gate of Destiny, YAMATO successfully defended the Open The Dream Gate Championship against Pro Wrestling NOAH's Kenoh. Following the match, he addressed his upcoming match in the opening round of the 2024 King of Gate against reigning Open The Brave Gate Champion Dragon Dia, daring him to challenge for his title, while also holding the Open The Brave Gate Championship. Four days later, Dia defeated YAMATO in the round-robin block match. Afterwards, he claimed that after he won the King of Gate, he would challenge YAMATO to a title match. On December 3, Dia defeated Kota Minoura in the finals to win the 2024 King of Gate. Following the match, Dia who had challenged YAMATO to a title match for the Open The Dream Gate Championship, was challenged by YAMATO to a title match for his the Open The Brave Gate Championship, setting up a double title match for the event.
Big Boss Shimizu, who was suspended by Dragon Gate
On February 24, Z-Brats' Yoshiki Kato, KAI and ISHIN vacated the Open The Triangle Gate Championship, after Kato was sidelined with a right knee injury. He made his return from injury on December 3, in a new heavier physique, challenging reigning champions Natural Vibes (Big Boss Shimizu, Strong Machine J and U-T) to a title match for the Open The Triangle Gate Championship, a title that he vacated due to an injury. On December 9, it was announced that Shimizu had been suspended indefinitely, pending an investigation into a suspected contract violation, vacating the Open The Triangle Gate Championship, in the proccess. Instead, Dragon Gate announced a match to crown the new champions, with PARADOX (BxB Hulk, Kagetora and Susumu Yokosuka) replacing Natural Vibes in the match.
On December 7, Kota Minoura pinned one-half of the reigning Open The Twin Gate Champions Flamita in a six-man tag team match. Afterwards Z-Brats' Minoura and Jason Lee challenged Flamita and his Natural Vibes stablemate Kzy to a title match for the Open The Twin Gate Championship at Final Gate, which they accepted.
