General's Jewel (ゼネラルズ・ジュエル Zeneraruzu Jueru) was a professional wrestling tag team formed by Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens, where they worked for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), as part of the Bullet Club stable.
The team was formed in November 2017, after Fale and Owens were selected to represent Bullet Club in the 2017 World Tag League. The team initially did not achieve much success, as Fale and Owens foccused on their singles career and other partners, before winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship in May 2022 with team quielty disabanding as result of that.
History[]
As part of Bullet Club, Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens formed a tag team named "General's Jewel". From November 18 until December 11, Fale and Owens took part in the 2017 World Tag League, finishing the tournament with a record of three wins and four losses, failing to advance to the finals. Afterwards, Fale and Owens began foccusing on their singles careers and teaming with other partners inside Bullet Club. Owens participated in the 2019 World Tag League teaming again with Bad Luck Fale, the duo finished with a record of six wins and nine losses failing to advance to the final round. The next year, Owens and Fale would again team, finishing the 2020 World Tag League with a record of three wins and six losses, again failing to advance to the finals. From November 14 until December 12, Owens and Bad Luck Fale took part in the 2021 World Tag League finishing the tournament with a record of six wins and five losses, failling to advance to the finals of the tournament.
At Hyper Battle, United Empire's Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb defeated Bishamon (Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi) to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship. Afterwards, in a post-match interview, Fale and Owens challenged Cobb and O-Khan to a title match, before being confronted by Goto, who also challenged Cobb and O-Khan to a rematch, leading to a three-way match at Wrestling Dontaku. On May 1, at Wrestling Dontaku, Fale and Owens defeated Cobb and O-Khan, and Goto and Yoshi-Hashi in a three-way match to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship. Afterwards, since Cobb and O-Khan were directly beaten in the three-way match, Cobb, who was incensed at their title reign ending prematurely challenged Owens and Fale to rematch for the IWGP Tag Team Championship. As part of the predule to their match, on June 3, during a six-man tag team match, between Fale, Owens and El Phantasmo and United Empire's, Cobb, O-Khan and Aaron Henare, Ace Austin interfered in the match, distrating Henare, before revealing himself as the stable's newest member, helping Bullet Club win the match. On June 12, at Dominion 6.12 in Osaka-jo Hall, Fale and Owens lost the IWGP Tag Team Champions back to Cobb and O-Khan. From November 22 until December 14, Fale and Owens took part in the 2022 World Tag League . Following three matches, where Fale and Owens scored two victories, they were forced to pull out of the tournament, after it was announced that Owens would be absent for the remainder of the tournament, following the passing of a family member, leading them to forfeit the remainder of their matches after the tournament ended the team would quietly disband with Fale and Owens foccusing on their singles career and other partners.
