Takeshi Sato (佐藤タケシ, Sato Takeshi)[1][2] (June 8, 1985) is a Japanese professional wrestler best known by his stage name Go. He is one of the students trained by the Dragon Gate Dojo and one of the first graduates of the El Dorado Dojo.

Professiona Wrestling Career[]

Dragon Gate (2006)[]

Sato began training at Dragon Gate in May 2006, competing in several bouts against Yasushi Kanda. However, shortly afterwards Takeshi was released from his contract, without having completed his training.

El Dorado Wrestling (2007-2008)[]

Shortly thereafter, Takeshi was hired by El Dorado Wrestling, a company mostly made up of former Dragon Gate wrestlers. There Sato finished his development period and made his debut under the name Toshiyuki Sato, reverting to his real name soon after. Initially acting as a jobber, Sato became a member of the heel group Hell Demons and changed his name to Go, obtaining a great fame among his companions. In December 2009, El Dorado closed, and its wrestlers were released.

Secret Base (2009-Present)[]

Later, Go entered Secret Base, a company created from the ashes of El Dorado. Later Go won the Captain of the Secret Base Championship.

Kensuke Office Pro Wrestling / Diamond Ring (2009-2013)[]

Alternating with his appearances in Secret Base, Go also signed a contract with Kensuke Office (later known as Dianond Ring), development company linked to Pro Wrestling NOAH and Dragon Gate where Sato would compete extensively during the following years. In 2010, Go did some matches in Pro Wrestling FREEDOMS. In 2013 Diamond Ring closed and Go continued to wrestle in Secret Base.
