Hideyoshi Kamitani (神谷英慶 Kamitani, Hideyoshi, born January 28, 1992) is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently signed to Big Japan Pro Wrestling, where he is a former one-time BJW Tag Team Champion, while also being a former one-time BJW World Strong Heavyweight Champion
Professional Wrestling Carrer
Kamitani dreamed of being a pro-wrestler from all the way back in elementary school. Though high school was noted as being rough for him with the loss of his mother and his father also being in rough shape afterwards. He was forced to work while also maintaining his schooling. This ultimately did not deter him from wanting to go into wrestling as he gained a strong fascination for All Japan Pro-Wrestling. Kamitani initially failed his first entrance exam into Big Japan Pro-Wrestling, but after working harder he managed to gain the approval of Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi the second time.
Big Japan Pro Wrestling (2011-Present)
In 2011 Kamitani joined and he made his debut on April 13, 2012 in a tag match with Yuji Okabayashi against Shinya Ishikawa and Jun Ogawauichi which he lost. Kamitani claimed his first victory on January 2, 2013 with Kazuki Hashimto as they defeated Atsushi Ohashi and Amigo Suzuki. In 2013 Kamitani would suffer an injury and it kept him out of action to the rest of the year. He would return in 2014 with a name change as he would down the Katakana characters of Hideyoshi ヒデヨシ instead of 英慶.
He participated at the Ikkitousen Strong Climb 2014 at block and he finished the tournament at block A and he finished the tournament in a terrible end with zero points. Later that year he participated at the Saikyou Tag League 2014 with Daisuke Sekimoto and they came all the way to the finals and they were eliminated by Abdullah Kobayashi and Ryuji Ito. On 2015 he challenged Daisuke Sekimoto for the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship and he lost. Later he participated at the Saikou Tag League 2015 with Ryota Hama and they finished the tournament with 6 points. On May 12 he had an oppurtunity for the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship and he lost to the defending champion Yuji Okabayashi. Immediately after the lost he and Ryota Hama defeated Sekimoto abnd Okabayashi to win the BJW Tag Team Championship his first championship in BJW.
On March he participated at the Ikkitousen Strong Climb 2016 and he finished the tornament with 6 points and he advanced to the semi finals of the tournament by defeating Hideki Suzuki and he advanced to the finals but lost to the eventual winner of the tournament Shuji Ishikawa. On May 29 he and Daichi Hashimoto, Hideki Suzuki defeated Daisuke Sekimoto and Yuji Okabayashi and Yoshihisa Uto on his return match after the injury he sufurred during the AJPW's Champion Carnival. One day later he and Hama lost the BJW Tag Team Championship to Twin Towers (Shuji Ishikawa and Kohei Sato). On July 24 Kamitani defeated Yuji Okabayashi to win the BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship winning his first singles championship. On December 18 BJW World Strong Heavyweight Championship lost the title to Okabayashi's partner Daisuke Seikimoto.
All Japan Pro Wrestling (2016)
On February 12, 2016 it was announced that Kamitani was going to be part of the AJPW 2016 Champion Carnival. He finished his block on Champion Carnival with 2 points with 1 victory and he forfeited all of his matches due to injury he sufred in match against Zeus.
