Homare Kato (加藤 帆希 Katō Homare, born December 12, 1996), currently known as Homare (帆希), is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Dragon Gate (DG).
Kato was trained in the Dragon Gate Dojo and made his debut in September 2024. He immediately turned heel and joined the villainous Z-Brats stable, renaiming himself to "Homare" and winning the Open The Triangle Gate Championship in June 2024.
Professional Wrestling Career[]
Kato began training at the Dragon Gate Dojo in October 2023, and earned a training spot in the dojo, after passing an introductory test on October 15. On August 2, 2024, Dragon Gate General Manager Ryo Saito introduced to the Dragon Gate audience, before announcing that he would make his debut for the promotion on September 5.
At the event, Kato made his official debut facing Masaaki Mochizuki in a losing effort. Afterwards, Big Hug and Gold Class offered the rookie an invitation to join their groups. However in a surprise turn of events, Kato revealed that he chose to join the villainous Z-Brats stable, following an admiration he had by Shun Skywalker, since he was trainee. The following day, he renamed himself to "Homare". On September 8, on his first match as part of Z-Brats, he and his stablemates Jason Lee and KAI defeated Gold Class (Ben-K, BxB Hulk and Mochizuki Junior), as part of their feud with them.
In March, Homare and Shun Skywalker took part in the 2025 Rey de Parejas, finishing the tournament with a record of three wins, and two losses, leading them to reach a decision match to determine semifinalists of the tournament. They eventually won the tournament on March 30, defeating fellow Z-Brats Kota Minoura and Jason Lee to win the tournament. On May 5, 2025, at Dead or Alive, Homare was defeated by U-T in a tournament final for the vacant Open The Brave Gate Championship. On June 4, Homare, Yoshiki Kato and ISHIN defeated Natural Vibes' Kzy, Flamita and Strong Machine J to win the Open The Triangle Gate Championship, winning his first professional wrestling title.
