Jack Morris (born October 6, 1993) is an Scottish professional wrestler currently performing in the Japanese promotion Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH). He is also known for his tenures with various promotions from the British independent scene.
Morris began his career in the British independent circuit working in various promotions such as English Revolution Pro Wrestling (RPW) and Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW). He began working for Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah) in July 2022. After working regularly for the promotion, Morris became one of the founding members of Good Looking Guys (GLG) and went on to held the GHC National Championship and GHC Tag Team Championships simultaneously. Good Looking Guys disbanded in July 2024. After turning heel in September 2024, Morris formed the Team 2000 X.
Early life[]
Prior to his professional wrestling career, Morris was a professional footballer and played as a striker for the Scottish team Cowdenbeath of the Lowland Football League. Injuries forced him to quit football and eventually make his transition to wrestling. In an interview from August 2022, he mentioned he also works as a gym instructor.
Professional wrestling career[]
Early career (2017–2023)[]
Morris’ main work took place in the British independent scene. He competed in a suite of events promoted by Revolution Pro Wrestling, first of them being the RevPro Live In London 71 from March 5, 2023, where he picked up a victory over TK Cooper. Morris shared a three-year tenure with Insane Championship Wrestling. He made his debut in the promotion at ICW Fight Club #115 on January 13, 2019.
Pro Wrestling Noah (2022–present)[]
Good Looking Guys (2022–2024)[]
On July 17, 2022, Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah) announced the participants for the N-1 Victory, including the debut of Morris for the promotion taking part in the tournament's block B. In his debut match in Noah, on August 11, Morris defeated former GHC Heavyweight Champion Kaito Kiyomiya. He eventually finished the tournament with a record of three wins and four losses, failing to advance to the finals of the tournament. He soon started competing in various of the promotion's flagship events. His first presence at a major pay-per-view took place at Grand Ship In Nagoya, on September 25, teaming with El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Naomichi Marufuji in a winning effort against Daiki Inaba, Masaaki Mochizuki and Masato Tanaka in a six-man tag team match.
On January 1, 2023 at The New Year, after Morris defeated Timothy Thatcher in a singles match, he was confronted by Jake Lee, who had recently left All Japan Pro Wrestling after his contract expired, who congratulated him on his victory, with the two forming a team. On January 8 at Reboot, Morris and Lee faced Kaito Kiyomiya and Yoshiki Inamura. Morris won the match for his team by scoring a direct pinfall over Kiyomiya and afterwards challenged him to a title match for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Shortly after, Noah announced the title between Morris and Kiyomiya for Great Voyage in Osaka on February 12. On January 17, Morris and Lee announced the creation of the "Good Looking Guys" (GLG) stable alongside Anthony Greene. At Great Voyage in Osaka, Morris unsucessfully challenged Kaito Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Championship. On March 17, at Great Voyage in Yokohama, Morris pinned GHC National Champion El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. during a tag team match. Afterwards, Morris won the right to challenge and made his challenge by simply motioning to the GHC National Championship belt before holding it over Wagner. On March 26, Morris pinned Wagner again in a six-man tag team match. On April 16 at Green Journey in Sendai, Morris unsucessfully challenged El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. for the GHC National Championship. In August, Morris took part in the 2023 N-1 Victory, finishing the tournament with a record of four wins, two losses and a draw, failing to advance to the finals of the tournament. On September 24 at Grand Ship In Nagoya, Morris and Anthony Greene defeated Real (Timothy Thatcher and Saxon Huxley) to win the GHC Tag Team Championship. On October 28 at Demolition Stage In Fukuoka, Morris defeated El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in a rematch to win the GHC National Championship, becoming a double champion, in the process.
He lost the title to HAYATA on April 11, 2024, in his fourth title defense. On June 16 at Grand Ship In Yokohama, Morris and Greene lost the GHC Tag Team Championship to The New NOAH's Leaders (Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura) in their ninth title defense, ending their reign at 266 days. On July 13 at Destination, Good Looking Guys disbanded. Afterwards, Jake Lee joined Bullet Club War Dogs, leading Morris confront him, before Lee attacked Morris. In August, Morris took part in the 2024 N-1 Victory, finishing the tournament with a record of four wins and three losses, failing to advance to the finals of the tournament.
Team 2000 X (2024–present)[]
On Spetember 30, Morris faced Greene and LJ Cleary in a three-way match. The match ended in a no contest, when a masked wrestler attacked the referee. Afterwards, he refused to shake Clearly's hand, only to shake Morris' instead with the two leaving the arena together. Morris then announced that the masked man identity would be revealed on October 14. On October 7, Morris faced Greene in a match, which ended in a no contest, after the masked wrestler attacked Greene. Afterwards, Daga, who pretended to help Greene, turned on him, aliging himself with Morris and the masked wrestler, before the three attacked Morris and Greene former stablemate LJ Cleary. On October 14, the mystery member was revealed to Yoshitatsu, with the three naming their stable "Team 2000 X". On October 27, Morris, Daga and Yoshitatsu attacked Ulka Sasaki, after his match. Afterwards, they began targetting Sasaki, with Morris confronting Sasaki, demanding a match against him on November 17, the winner facing Shinsuke Nakamura on January 1, 2025 at The New Year. On November 17 at Deathnity, Morris was defeated by Sasaki. On November 30, Morris challenged Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura to a title match for the GHC Tag Team Championship, alongside a mystery partner, which was later revealed to be WWE's Omos. On January 1, 2025, at The New Year, they defeated Marufuji and Sugiura to become the new champions. On Janaury 25, Omos announced that he would be leaving Noah to return to WWE and handed his half of the GHC Tag Team Championship to Daga. However, the GHC committee announced that they do not honor this transfer and the titles would be vacated instead. However, Morris and Daga refused to relinquish the titles, leading to a match on April 6, where Morris and Daga defeated Galeno and Kaito Kiyomiya to become the new champions. They lost the titles to Kenoh and Ulka Sasaki on May 3, at Memorial Voyage in Kokugikan.
