On March 3, Lee faced Shun Skywalker in a losing effort. Following the match, Skywalker began persuading Lee to join him at Z-Brats, stating that Lee could not be without him, stating that he was betrayed by everybody around him. Fellow Hongkonger, Ho Ho Lun persuaded Lee to not join them, before being attacked by Z-Brats. Afterwards, YAMATO and Kzy persuaded Lee to join them at High-End and Natural Vibes, leading Dragon Gate General Manager Ryo Saito to schedule a three-way match between YAMATO, Kzy and Skywalker, with the winner having Lee joining them at their stable. Afterwards, Skywalker began trying to persduade Lee to join Z-Brats, due to their previous relationship as part of Masquerade. On April 25, Lee faced fellow Hong Kong wrestler Ho Ho Lun, with Lee defeating Lun after Z-Brats interfered and distracted Lun, allowing Lee to hit a low blow followed by an Inside Cradle to win the match, with Lee apparently turning heel and siding Skywalker. Later that night, the three-way match ended in a double pinfall, with Natural Vibes and Z-Brats winning the match. After the match, General Manager Ryo Saito stated that both should negotiate to see which stable Lee would join. Afterwards, instead of joining Z-Brats, Lee turned on Skywalker and joined Natural Vibes, proclaiming that the three-way match was part of his plan to join them. In May, Lee took part in the 2022 King of Gate, reaching the semifinals of the tournament. However, after suffering a concussion during his match against Hulk in the quarter finals, he was forced to pull out of the tournament. On July 30 at Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival, Lee and Natural Vibes stablemate Jacky "Funky" Kamei defeated Diamante and Shun Skywalker to win the Open The Twin Gate Championship. On March 2, Lee challenged Minorita to a title match for the Open The Brave Gate Championship, promising to return the old championship belt back, due to Minorita holding a miniature of the title belt, which led to Minorita accepting the title match. On March 4, at Champion Gate in Osaka, Lee defeated Minorita to win the Open The Brave Gate Championship. He lost the title to ISHIN on July 2, at Kobe Pro-Wrestling Festival in his second title defense. Professional wrestling career[]

Early career[]

During Lee's childhood, Lee started to watch Martial Artist and famous movie actor Bruce Lee, and said to himself to one day become Bruce Lee, while at ten years old watching WWE on the television. Lee got inspired and decided to pursue the dream of becoming a professional wrestler, and to show people how he can add Chinese Kung Fu into Professional Wrestling.

Lee started to train with fellow Hong Kong wrestler Ho Ho Lun during his teenage years, and founded Hong Kong's first professional wrestling promotion Hong Kong Pro Wrestling Federation alongside Lun. Lee debuted in 2009, at the age of 16, under the ring name Jason New.

Independent circuit (2009–2019)[]

In 2012, Lee traveled to Japan to work with Pro Wrestling Zero1, training in the company’s dojo, where he could return to Hong Kong every three months to renew his visa.
