Junta Miyawaki (宮脇純太, Miyawaki Junta, born June 14, 1997 in Kagawa, Japan) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently working for Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah), where he is a former one-time GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion.

Miyawaki was trained by Pro Wrestling Noah dojo and made his debut in August 2017 and worked as a rookie on the mid-card, before going on an excursion to Mexico in 2022. Upon returning, he began incorporating lucha libre elements into his style, despite injury setbacks, he began raising his status in NOAH's junior heavyweight division in 2025, winning the NOAH Jr. Tag League and GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship.

Early life[]

Since junior high school, Miyawaki was inspired to pursue a career as a professional wrestler, which led him to practice Judo. After completing high school, at the age of 18, Miyawaki joined the Pro Wrestling Noah dojo in April 2016.

Professional wrestling career[]

Pro Wrestling Noah (2017–Present)[]

After eight months, in the Pro Wrestling Noah dojo, Miyawaki began wrestling several exhibition bouts before officially debuting against Hitoshi Kumano on August 12, 2017 in a losing effort. As is customary for most professional wrestlers, Inamura spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers while at the same time give Miyawaki some in-ring, televised, experience. In July 2018, Miyawaki and Seiya Morohashi took part in the 2018 Global Junior Heavyweight Tag League, due to Dradition's LEONA being sidelined with an foot injury. They lost all of their qualifying matches, being defeated by Back Breakers (Hajime Ohara and Hitoshi Kumano), RATEL'S (Daisuke Harada and Tadasuke), RATEL'S (HAYATA and YO-HEY), Ikuto Hidaka and Takuya Sugawara, Hi69 and Minoru Tanaka, and Ricky Marvin and El Hijo del Pantera. In September, Miyawaki took part in the 2018 Global Junior League. He lost all of their qualifying matches, being defeated by HAYATA, Hi69, Ikuto Hidaka, Minoru Tanaka and YO-HEY.

In the following year, in June, Miyawaki and Morohashi took part in the 2019 Global Junior Heavyweight Tag League, winning only one of their qualifying matches. From June 26, until July 19, Miyawaki took part in the 2019 Global Junior League, having the same performance as in the previous year, not managing a single victory during the tournament. This led in January 2020, Miyawaki also losing all of his qualifying match in the 2020 Global Junior League. On February 8, Miyawaki defeated fellow rookie Kinya Okada to win his first professional wrestling match. On March 8, it was announced that Miyawaki had dislocated his shoulder during training, leading him to undergo surgery for his shoulder. On Spetember 23, Daisuke Harada teased that he and his partner Atsushi Kotoge would be joined by a mystery man. Three days later, Miyawaki was revealed to be Harada and Kotoge's partner, making his return match in a countout draw against HAYATA, Yoshinari Ogawa and Kinya Okada.

On February 7, 2021, it was announced that Miyawaki would undergo to an emergency surgery for his appendicitis. He made his return from injury on March 6, teaming with Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada in a winning effort against Full Throttle (Hajime Ohara, Seiki Yoshioka and YO-HEY). On March 21, Miyawaki and Harada unsuccessfully challenged Stinger (HAYATA and Yoshinari Ogawa) for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. From August 24 until September 9, Miyawaki took part in Pro Wrestling Zero1's 2021 Tenkaichi Junior Tournament, losing to Shoki Kitamura in the semi-finals on September 9.

On May 21, 2022, Miyawaki announced that he was going on a learning excursion in Mexico, as part of the Toryumon Casa project. In his send-off match, on May 31, he faced Kaito Kiyomiya in a losing effort. During his excursion in Mexico, Miyawaki worked regularly for a number of local Mexico independent wrestling promotions such as International Wrestling Revolution Group, All Style Pro Wrestling (ASPW) and Desastre Total Ultraviolento. He stayed in Canada for five months until December 2, working for a ASPW show, where he unsuccessfully challenged Tromba for the ASPW Openweight Championship, which turned out to be his last match in Mexico.

Miyawaki returned from his excursion on December 23, confronting and challenging AMAKUSA after he had defeated Dante Leon to win the GHC Heavyweight Championship. Afterwards, it was announced that Miyawaki would receive a title shot against AMAKUSA on January 1, 2023 at The New Year. At the event, on January 1, 2023, Miyawaki unsuccessfully challenged AMAKUSA for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship. Over the following months, Miyawaki entered in a slump, leading him to beg for Shuji Kondo to help him, who accepted and took him under his wing. On the April 20, 2024, episode of Monday Magic, Kondo, who felt he no longer needed Miyawaki, turned on him, ending their partnership.

On July 16, Miyawaki made his debut in Dragon Gate, after winning his match, Miyawaki hinted that he would challenge for the Open The Brave Gate Championship, which he formalized on August 1, challenging Dragon Dia to a match at Dangerous Gate. At the event, on August 12, Miyawaki unsucessfully challenged Dia for the Open The Brave Gate Championship.

The following month, Miyawaki, now working as a singles wrestler, began focusing on persuing the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship and on September 30, he became one of eight wrestlers to challenge reigning champion Daga to a title match. This NOAH to held the N Innovation Tournament to decide Daga's next challenger. Going into the tournament, Miyawaki declared himself as the "face of NOAH's" junior heavyweight division, as it was his responsability to carry the division. Repackaged complete with a new look and a new persona, he defeated one half of reigning GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions YO-HEY in the first round on November 2, before declaring his challenge also for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, aiming to win both NOAH's junior heavyweight titles. In the semifinals, Miyawaki defeated former GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion AMAKUSA, but was defeated by Dragón Bane in the finals of the N Innovation Tournament.

In February 2025, Miyawaki and AMAKUSA took part of the 2025 NOAH Jr. Tag League, finishing the tournament with a record of two wins and one loss loss, advancing to the finals of the tournament. On March 2 at Memorial Voyage in Yokohama, Miyawaki and AMAKUSA defeated Mark Trew and Kieron Lacey by referee stoppage in the finals to win the tournament. On March 22, Miyawaki and AMAKUSA defeated HAYATA and YO-HEY to win the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, winning his first professional wrestling title. They lost the titles to Los Golpeadores (Dragón Bane and Alpha Wolf) on May 3, at Memorial Voyage in Kokugikan.
