Kai Fujimura (藤村加偉 Fujimura Kai, born March 29, 1995) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently working for Pro Wrestling NOAH (NOAH). He made his debut for Wrestle-1 (W-1) on July 2, 2019, and worked for the promotion over the following two years, before the promotion closed. Shortly after he moved to NOAH in November 2020.
Professional Wrestling Career[]
Wrestle-1 (2018–2020)[]
On August 12, 2018, Fujimura passed the introductory test to enter in the Wrestle-1 dojo, as part of the promotion's "2nd Golden Rookie Project", before starting training at the Wrestle-1 dojo. After eleven months, in the Wrestle-1 dojo, Fujimura made his official debut against Yusuke Kodama on July 2, 2019 in a losing effort. As is customary for most professional wrestlers, Fujimura spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers while at the same time give Fujimura some in-ring, televised, experience. On August 1, Fujimura injured his left arm, sideling him for three months. He made his return from injury on December 12, defeating fellow rookie Takuro Niki in a match to decide the final spot for the 2020 Wrestle-1 Cruiser Festival, marking his first professional wrestling victory. At the tournament, on January 18, 2020, Fujimura was defeated by Alejandro in the first round. On March 31, Fujimura was released by Wrestle-1, after the promotion suspended its activities on the following day.
Pro Wrestling NOAH (2020–present)[]
Following the closure of Wrestle-1, Fujimura began working for Pro Wrestling Noah, making his debut for the promotion on November 28 at New Hope, facing Atsushi Kotoge in a losing effort. He won his first match in the promotion on December 29, defeating Yasutaka Yano. In NOAH, for most his time, Fujimura spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers and give him in-ring, televised, experience. On January 2, 2024 at The New Year, Fujimura fractured his forearm. He made his return from injury on July 21, losing to Yu Owada.
On October 20, Fujimura was revealed as the newest member of All Rebellion, after his brother Alejandro had previously teased a new member to the stable. As part of his addition to All Rebellion, Fujimura was repackaged complete with a new look and a new persona and with a slightly change to his ring name, from Kanji to Katakana, now written as カイ・フジムラ. He also formed a team with his brother and in their first match, they were defeated by Los Golpeadores (Alpha Wolf and Dragon Bane). Despite losing, both brothers stated they aim to challenge for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. He was selected to take part in the N Innovation Tournament, marking a turning point in his career. He was eliminated from the tournament by eventual winner Dragón Bane on October 30 in the first round.
