Memorial Gate in Wakayama 2013 was a professional wrestling event promoted by Dragon Gate. The event took place on February 2 2013, in Wakayama at the Iwade City Sougou Gymnasium Large Hall and was the third event under the Memorial Gate in Wakayama.

The event featured 7 matches with four of Dragon Gate's Rtwo championships on the line. The main event saw CIMA defeating Jimmy Kanda to retain the Open The Dream Gate Championship. All in all, the events featured no title changes.

Storylines[]

Naoki Tanisaki continued his feud with Naoki Tanizaki that won his name rights back and their feud cumilated until the it was agreed between the two a match and the loser would be exiled from Dragon Gate and the match was set to be on the Memorial Gate. It was later announced that Team Veteran Returns (Masaaki Mochizuki and Don Fujii) would defend the Open The Twin Gate Championship against Naruki Doi and Ricochet and CIMA would defend the Open The Dream Gate Championship against Jimmy Kanda.

The event featured a title match for the Open the Twin Gate Champions between Team Veteran Returns (Masaaki Mochizuki and Don Fujii) defeated World-1 International (Naruki Doi and Ricochet) were Team Veteran Returns retained the titles it also featured a Jimmys vs. Mad Blankey Losing Captain Exile 5 vs. 5 Captain Fall Elimination Match were Jimmyz won and Mr. Pii Pii Tomakomai Penguin had to exile from Dragon Gate after the match Mad Blankey turned on Mr. Pii Pii Tomakomai Penguin and Naoki Tanizaki made the save and the two formed a alliance. At the main event CIMA defeated Jimmy Kanda to retain the Open the Dream Gate Championship.
