Nobuhiro Shimatani (島谷常寛, Shimatani Nobuhiro, born February 27, 1996) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently working for Dramatic Dream Team (DDT).

Professional wrestling Career[edit | edit source]

DDT Pro-Wrestling (2016-Present)[edit | edit source]

Shimatani made his debut on March 5, 2016 as part of the new traniees for DDT losing to Kouki Iwasaki. As is customary for most professional wrestlers, Shimatani spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers while at the same time give Iino some in-ring, televised, experience. During those losses Shimatani would won the King of Dark Championship. Later Shimatani was assigned to the DDT's sub-brand DDT New Attitude. The sub-brand was formed to showcase of all DDT Pro-Wrestling up and coming young talent prospects. During October 2016 Shimatani would participate in the DNA Grand Prix losing all of his matches not advancing to the finals.

On February 19, 2017 Shimatani got his first win by defeating Gota Ihashi thus losing the King of Dark Championship. On April 16 Shimatani would pin Keisuke Ishi and Royce Issacs to win their Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere contracts but he would later loss them Guanchulo and Naomi Yoshimura. On December 30 he joined Damnation for one night teaming with Mad Paulie and Paulie 1 unsuccessfuly challenging Shuten Doji (Kudo, Masahiro Takanashi and Yukio Sakaguchi) for the KO-D 6-Man Tag Team Championships. On June 11, 2018 it was announced that DNA would be suspended, leading to Shimatani being transferred to the DDT main roster. During the DNA draft Shimatani chose to stay with DDT and join Damnation.
