Welcome to the Puroresu System Wiki! This is a puroresu (Japanese Professional Wrestling) encyclopedia, which is aimed to be a free and reliable resource about Puroresu. No though rules and notability are required because in an encyclopedia everything about the topic has to be included, here you can know everything about puroresu from wrestlers to stables, from championships to promotions, from tournaments to events and with its history and much more.

With this wiki, we wish to start a reliable and credible community and a research source, based on the Japanese Professional Wrestling world, otherwise known as the Puroresu world.

As a wiki, as a community, we want to show how it is the Puroresu world to everyone, how much pride we have in what we do from pictures to pages to make a great wiki and a great community, where everyone can base and rely on.

Puroresu (プロレス) is the popular term for the predominant style or genre of professional wrestling that has developed in Japan following World War II. The term comes from the Japanese pronunciation of "professional wrestling" (プロフェッショナル・レスリング), which is shortened to puroresu. In this sense, puroresu could be transliterated as pro-wres. The term became popular among English-speaking fans due to Hisaharu Tanabe (a Japanese Wrestling fan)'s activities in the online Usenet community. Growing out of origins in the traditional US style of wrestling, it has become an entity in itself. Japanese pro wrestling is distinct in its psychology and presentation of the sport. It is treated as a legitimate fight, with fewer theatrics; the stories told in Japanese matches are about a fighter's spirit and perseverance. Suzuki-gun (鈴木軍, Suzukigun, literally translated to "Suzuki Army") was a villainous professional wrestling stable in the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) promotion. The group was originally founded in December 2010 by IWGP Heavyweight Champion Satoshi Kojima as Kojima-gun (小島軍, Kojimagun, "Kojima Army"), but in May 2011, the members of the stable turned on Kojima and appointed Minoru Suzuki as their new leader.
