The Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere is a battle royal established by DDT Pro-Wrestling promotion in 2012. The holder of the contracts have a rule that only in matches they can lose their contracts (if the holder of the contract is pinned, submmitted or even by TKO the contract is passed to the opponents that got the win. This needs to be in a professional wrestling match and not at anytime) it's similar to due WWE's Money in the Bank, where the prize in the match is an elbow pad containing a contract for a championship match, which can be "cashed in" by the holder of the briefcase at any point in the year following their victory. The first matches were contested in 2012 and the winners of their contracts could get any championship match, for one of DDT Championships.
History
2012
This was invented by the DDT general manager Amon Tsurumi on March 2012. At the end of march Tsurumi announced that the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere would be a Royal Rumble at the April Fool event. Then Tsurumi announced that the match had a bonus of having five separate envelopes hanging above the ring. Inside each envelope was a contract. The first competitor to grab hold of an envelope would win the prized contract kept inside. Nobody knew which envelope contains which contract.
Then the contract holder could choose a championship match for any of DDT Championships including the KO-D Openweight Championship, DDT Extreme Division Championship or the KO-D Tag Team Championship (if the holder chose a partner) or becoming the next Ken Ohka at anytime. Then later on April Fool the Royal Rumble served to crown the first holders to have the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere. The winners of each respective matches were Yuji Hino, Masa Takanashi, DJ Nira, Keita Yano and Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Later that night, Takanashi successfully cashed in his newly won Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere on Sanshiro Takagi to become the new KO-D Openweight Champion. On May 4 Hino successfully cashed in his Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere on Takanashi to become the new KO-D Openweight Champion. Then Tomomitsu Matsunaga who also won the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere choosed GENTARO to be his partner and both unsuccessfully challenged Hino and Yasu Urano on June 3 for the KO-D Tag Team Championship. Meanwhile, Makoto Oishi won the Ken Ohka Anytime, Anywhere contract to become Ken Ohka when he wanted and on July 29 DJ Nira who was also an holder of the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere unsuccessfully challenged Kota Ibushi for the KO-D Openweight Championship.
2013
The following year, Yukio Sakaguchi, Sanshiro Takagi, Keisuke Ishii, HARASHIMA and DJ Nira became the holders of the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere. Then Takagi lost his Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere to Yasu Urano. This followed up with Urano losing his contract to Akito. Then on March 31, Akito lost his contract to Makoto Oishi and Urano pinned Ishii in a match to win his contract. Later Oishi cashed in his contract on the KO-D Openweight Champion Shigehiro Irie and Irie managed to retain his title. Then on April 10 Takagi defeated Nira to win his contract. However Nira on his contract back three days later and HARASHIMA lost his contract to MIKAMI and Sakaguchi unsuccessfully challenged Irie for the KO-D Openweight Championship. The following day, Nira lost his contract to El Samurai. Urano then lost his contract to Daisuke Sasaki. Ishii regained his contract from Urano on May 26. Emi Sakura became the first female to win the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere contract. Then on June 23 Sasaki and Ishii cashed in their contract unsuccessfully challenging Irie for the KO-D Openweight Championship. Samurai was the only wrestler to cash in his contract. Yuji Okabayashi also had an contract and he also unsuccessfully challenged Irie for the KO-D Openweight Championship.

However Fukuda lost his contract to Yoshihiko. On April 26 Yoshihiko's contract changed hands three times after Yoshihiko was defeated by Tomomitsu Matsunaga. Then Matsunaga was pinned by DJ Nira and then Nira was defeated by Saki Akai. On April 29 Kudo won Honda's contract and Daisuke Sasaki won Urano's contract. On May 24 Kudo won one of Sasaki's contract and Higuchi unsuccessfully cashed in his contract against HARASHIMA failling to win the KO-D Openweight Championship. On May 24 Danshoku Dino then won Sasaki's contracts. Dino lost one of his contracts against Ken Ohka and the other to Masa Takanashi. On June 28 Urano won Takahashi contract. Later that night Urano cashed in his contract against Kudo. During the match, Ohka suddenly appeared cashed in his contract and he managed to win the KO-D Openweight Championship. However while Ohka was celebrating Kudo sucessfully cashed in his remaining contract defeating Ohka for the KO-D Openweight Championship. Kudo became the first wrestler to sucessfully cashed in the Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere twice.
2016
In 2016 the original holders became Kazusada Higuchi, Ken Ohka, Tomomitsu Matsunaga and Toru Owashi. Then another battle royal was made of another Right to Challenge Anytime, Anywhere contract. This led on March 26 Saki Akai, Danshoku Dino and Antonio Honda becoming the new holders. Later that night Ohka failed to cash in his contract losing to reigning KO-D Openweight Champion HARASHIMA. Then Kouki Iwasaki won Matsunaga's contract, Mizuki Watase won Akai's contract Watase then lost his contract to Danshoku Dino and Honda lost his contract to Daisuke Sasaki. DDT originally booked a battle royal to decide the 1# Contendership to the KO-D Openweight Championship, which Kazusada Higuchi won. The contracts would then be grabbed by Mizuki Watase, Tetsuya Endo, MAO, Antonio Honda, Ken Ohka and Meiko Satomura.
