  Shoichi Ichimiya (一宮章一, Ichimiya Shoichi, born February 14, 1969) is a Japanese professional wrestler and former sumo wrestler and mixed martial artist best known for his time with Dramatic Dream Team (DDT), where he competed as a mainstay from 2001 to 2009 where he also became president of the promotion from 2003 to 2005.

CareerEdit

Shoichi Ichimiya is the son of Akira Fujinishiki, a high ranking a sumo wrestler. Because of this fact, he did sumo wrestling during student days but instead he decided to become professional wrestler.

Ichimiya made his debut for WAR in 1997 teaming with Shigeo Okumura and Tomohiro Ishii facing Masaaki Mochizuki, Takashi Okamura and Yoshikazu Taru. In 1999 after WAR closed he went to wrestle a brief sint in IWA Japan from 1999 to 2000 when he left the promotion.

One year later he joined Drematic Dream Team where he was known for parodying famous wrestlers such as Shinya Hashimoto, Mitsuharu Misawa, Tarzan Goto, Magnum TOKYO, Hulk Hogan and Chyna and in 2003 he became the president of the promotion unitl 2005 but he would still wrestle for the promotion until 2009.

After he left the promotion he would only wrestle for Guts World and Apache Pro Wrestling Army until 2013.
