Dylan Kyle Cox Barrales, better known by the ring name The DKC, is an American professional wrestler currently signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). His ring name is derived from the initials of his birth name Dylan Kyle Cox.
Early life[]
Before beginning his career, Cox practiced karate before training for his professional wrestling career in early 2018, being trained by a local wrestling school named Santino Bros Wrestling Academy at the Los Angeles metropolitan area, in Bell Gardens, California.

Early Career[]
Cox started his professional wrestling career in March 2018, he would in work in the American independent circuit under the ring name "Dylan Kyle Cox" for promotions mostly based in California until early 2020, when Cox debuted in NJPW.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling (2020–Present)[]
On June 13, 2020, at the third episode of Lion's Break Collision, Cox debuted under the name "The DKC", in a tag team match along with Misterioso, losing to Karl Fredericks and Clark Connors. In early 2020, Dylan, wroked first as an independent wrestler before on January 8, 2021, Dylan directly appealed to Katsuyori Shibata to become a trainee of the L.A. dojo, which he accepted. Since then he started work as a "young lion" and started being on Shibata's wing. As is customary for most young lions, DKC spent most of his matches losing to other, more experienced wrestlers, which would help put over other wrestlers while at the same time give him some in-ring, televised, experience.
On March 1, NJPW announced the second edition of the tournament of the New Japan Cup USA, featuring qualifying matches for spots in the tournament taking place through March, with DKC facing Tom Lawlor. On March 5, DKC lost to Lawlor in a chance to qualify for the tournament. In June, DKC took part in the Tag Team Turbulence along with fellow Young Lion, Kevin Knight, losing in the first round to Team Filthy's West Coast Wrecking Crew (Jorel Nelson and Royce Issacs). Through NJPW's international partnerships Connors made his debut in American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW), on May 1, 2022, in a tag team match along with fellow Young Lion, Kevin Knight losing to The Factory's QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto. On June 3, DKC made his Japanese debut, teaming Yuji Nagata and Clark Connors in a losing effort against Los Ingobernables de Japón (Tetsuya Naito, SANADA and Shingo Takagi). On October 10, 2022, DKC along with Kevin Knight lost a four-way tag team match for the #1 for the Strong Tag Team Champions. On November 28, at the Rumble On the 44th Street, DKC and Knight failed to capture the Strong Tag Team Champions in a three-way match also involving the champions, Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), where Knight got the pin. From October 21 to November 2, The DKC and Ryusuke Taguchi took part in the 2023 Super Jr. Tag League, finishing the tournament with a record two wins and seven losses, failing to advance to the finals of the tournament. Around this time, DKC would quietly graduate from his Young Lion status. From October 24 to November 2, DKC and Ninja Mack took part in the 2024 Super Jr. Tag League, finishing the tournament with a record two wins and three losses, failing to advance to the finals.
