WRESTLE LAND also known as Professional Wrestling Happy Land was the developmental branch of professional wrestling promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), which held events between May 2006 and 2007. The brand was launched in March 2006, it also featured wrestlers from other promotions. The goal of the concept was to reach out to a broader audience that reached fans who are unfamiliar with the actual New Japan. WRESTLE LAND was colorful with entertaining storylines and oriented projects, which is particularly interesting for people of other ages. When New Japan decided to create several "Brands", Tiger Mask was appointed as the 'ace' of Wrestle Land alongside Hiroshi Tanahashi but ended up wrestling two matches under the WRESTLE LAND brand, leaving the brand. They were quickly replaced by Milano Collection AT. and Manabu Nakanishi as the top ace of the branch. After the project closed NJPW created several projects with the same theme that included NEVER and the Lion's Gate Project, which saw the debut of several young lions.
