Professional Wrestling Career

Osaka Pro Wrestling (2006–2009)

Zeus is arguably the strongest wrestlers to ever step foot into an Osaka Pro ring. A brief video hyped up a mysterious debut right before the 2006 Tennozan Finals show in December. Zeus would make his first appearance at that show, first impressively bending a frying pan and then helping GAINA & Condor take out Seikigun. This would be the start of the heel group Bad Force. Nicknamed the God of Destroy, Zeus was initially unbeatable due to his strength. He teamed up with GAINA to win the Osaka Pro Tag Titles shortly afterwards, but they would lose them at Hurricane 2007 to Hideyoshi & Masamune in a three-way Match. Zeus started to break out as a singles wrestler in late 2007, reaching the Tennozan final before falling to Osaka Pro Champion Tigers Mask. Super Delfin then started to take an interest in Zeus, offering him to teach him more about professional wrestling. Despite Bad Force’s protests, Zeus would accept Delfin’s offer and eventually left the group. After Hurricane 2008, he started the youngster group Blood & Guts (B&G) and recruited Daisuke Harada and Tadasuke. Zeus started to appear in other promotions, most notably facing big names like Akebono and Toshiaki Kawada in Hustle. It was in Hustle that he picked up a clean singles win over former IWGP Heavyweight Champion Bob Sapp. Zeus produced his own show in December and hinted at a major announcement at Hurricane 2009. After defeating the Bodyguard at the event, Zeus announced that he was going to start training for a career in boxing. Thus, he would be leaving the wrestling industry, effective immediately.

Boxing (2009–2010)

He didn’t turn out to be a successful boxer and he announced in July 2010 that he would be returning to professional wrestling in the fall.

Return to Osaka Pro Wrestling (2010–2013)

He went into extensive training in order to regain the same body strength he had when he left. His official return to wrestling occurred in November 2010 and shortly afterwards, his rivalry with the Bodyguard was reborn. The two traded wins and eventually formed a team in early 2011 after Bodyguard was kicked out of JOKER. Known collectively as the Big Guns, they would go on to win the Osaka Pro Tag Titles for a short time. Zeus also participated in ZERO1′s Fire Festival and won the NWA Intercontinental Tag Titles with Masato Tanaka.Zeus is considered a freelancer, but his home base is Osaka Pro.Besides ZERO1, he’s participated and produced shows in conjunction with TAJIRI’s Wrestling New Classic. Whenever he’s not wrestling, Zeus co-runs a fitness center called KING GYM with Bodyguard. They also won the Osaka Tag Festival 2013 and later in 2013 they won the Osaka Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions for the second time and Zeus also won the Osaka Pro Wrestling Championship and at the Tennozan 2013 Zeus and Bodyguard faced each other in the finals and the winner was Zeus.
